Sometimes the best option is to ride a subway train for a while to get some sleep and stay warm. What are the best lines with the longest turnarounds in each city with a metro system to get some rest?

I've had to sleep on trains on 3 different cities. This past winter I spent some days riding Boston's Red Line Braintree branch to keep warm and get some sleep, because it's the longest. Back in the 90's when I was homeless in NYC for a summer, sometimes I'd ride the A train at night, which was over 3 hours for a round trip. Also back in the 80's, when homeless in San Francisco, quite often on Sundays I'd get a big Sunday paper and camp out on the BART all day, usually on the line between Daly City and Fremont, before the subsequent extensions and changes to the lines? So what's the best option in the other cities?
