If I’m not big into drinking, what is the appeal of Venice?

I’m hoping you all can save my Venice trip because I’m there right now and not having a great time. It doesn’t help that the weather is awful.

The canals are cool and the city is beautiful, but that doesn’t fill the day. Once the main tourist attractions are done, what else is there? People say to explore, especially at night, but the shops are all tourist shops selling the same mass produced goods regardless of the area & so much closes after 7 pm.

I spoke to someone who lives in Venice, and he said that there’s nothing else to do but drink. I’ve seen a lot of praise for Venice, so I’m hoping for some good suggestions to make it more fun, especially in this rain and cold.

I noticed that my fans turn on full speed when I start League of Legends before the match even starts. The client is bad, but it shouldn't be this bad. I'm on Balanced mode and I have a cooling pad under my laptop. Is there a setting I need to check out or something I need to do to understand why my laptop is getting so hot?
