I went into my local LV store on Sunday, interested in the Crafty 30. It wasn't on display, and after some shuffling, the associate returned with the bag from the back, saying it was on hold for another customer. This particular Speedy had a loose thread on the handle. Thinking this could cause some unraveling later, I left the bag in the store and had the associate order me a new one, which was encouraged.

I received a text this morning (Wednesday) to pick up my order. It took about 10-15 mins for the associate to come back, and I took a look around, skipping by the Crafty 30 on display. When inspecting my new order, I noticed the same thread coming apart in the same area. I gave the associate my concerns and they took it back to remove the loose thread (making the wrapping thinner). While waiting another 10 mins, I went to look at the display model to see if I could potentially take it if it was in better condition. It was gone.

Long and short- I don't think a new bag was ordered for me. I'm assuming something went wrong, and in a pinch, the store pulled the same bag I left off the display. It gets more frustrating when the associate returned my order for credit and put in a second order for pick up, without confirming with me or offering me any options.

They mentioned that they have no clue where the items are shipped from, and there is a chance I may receive a display model. Mind you, when I asked where the display went, they told me that someone must have sold it. In the 15 mins I was standing around. The whole ordeal felt like a huge insult to my intelligence.

I had them cancel the second order (that I did not entirely agree to place), got a refund and I'm thinking of trying again at another boutique or online. Does anyone have any idea where orders typically ship from? I just needed a place to put my thoughts after a wasted afternoon. Thanks for reading!
