Was diagnosed at 57 with stage 3 inflammatory cancer left breast. Started with 10 rounds of chemo. Had mastectomy and 9 lymph nodes removed, followed with radiation. Opted for DIEP, but it was postponed a couple years due to Covid and insurance delays. All in all very fortunate to come through with no major complications. One thing that does linger is that I don’t really feel the left underarm and left breast area, but I will have an itchy feeling, and scratching doesn’t help bc I can’t really pinpoint it. I will also feel weird pains if I turn or stretch the wrong way. Wondering if anyone else has experienced either and what you do. Anti itch creams or powders are useless.
