I found this baby bird on the ground at work over the weekend. I looked for a nest but there’s not much around so I took him home hoping to get him to a rehabilitator. I called the next morning and left voicemails at multiple places and haven’t heard anything back. Any advice would be helpful but I’m really just curious as to what species he is so I could feed him a proper diet. He’s just started opening his eyes as of yesterday but isn’t gaining much weight. Other than that he seems to be doing good.
