Should I skip the GK grind in 11th?

So I am in 11th, I joined lpt (online) and one of my GK faculties says don't waste time on clat express. Only revise class topics and utilize your time for other sections especially things like QT and AR and you'll be set in 12th. While I see the reasoning behind the later part of his advice I am not sure about skipping the mag completely. Obviously I will still read np and makes notes and then there's classes. I am having serious FOMO about this lol, seniors who started preparing from 11th, what should I do?

Remind yourself of what happened to Nupur Sharma for speaking out what's written in their own holybook. This guy has the audacity to call on the eradication of Sanatana in a government institution. Hindus are way too tolerant in this country.
