Basically there was a small water leak in my carpeted room a week ago or so but now that the carpet is fully dried there’s a lingering humid/musty smell in my room and basement as a whole (which is where my room is).

Any tips on how I can get rid of this smell for good? I’ve already tried sprinkling baking soda over the spots that got wet and leaving it for several hours but that didn’t seem to do much. Anything else I can try without hiring a professional cleaner?
