Stocism and Fear/Hate
I understand there are many arguments in the philosophy, that fear should be understood/challenged, however did it's unresolved ancient philosophy catch on to modern men? Or was it just not taught?
My philosophy, is that fear is considered a weakness, but also a survival instinct, hate is a irrational fear emotion that should be challenged.
There are times when getting run over by a car becomes a normal day to day thing, do I fear I will die from it? Yes and no, I am very aware, but never afraid. That's rational fear.
Irrational fear is when you hate a group of people, because "they might"(fear), without understanding them, which is weakness. Somehow how ever "masculine" men turn to hate, racism, misogyny, all fear emotion "To Protect".
I was hateful at one time when I was young and stupid, now? I don't fear or hate others, I am alert sure.
In conclusion Hate is a Fear emotion, which is a weakness that should be looked at before you call yourself a rational man.
