Alright, so my setup is:

Growatt SPF 3000 TL

EG4 indoor 48v 280 Ah with built in busbar

Eco-worthy power mega 314 48v 314 Ah

All 0/2 gauge wire

I started with the inverter and eg4, but found it just didn't last quite long enough, trying to add in the ecoworthy. Connecting the battery and flipping the breakers is fine, I can see the eg4 will pull current, haven't seen it push current to the ecoworthy.

When I try to connect the comms though, it immediately trips the breaker on the eg4.

I don't see any surge in either side, so I don't think it's that. The batteries are both configured to run the growatt protocol.

I also have a basengreen 48v 280 Ah that I thought was problematic because it had the same symptoms. What am I doing wrong? Is it okay to have the ecoworthy connected to the eg4 without comms?
