32 copies in 3 months..

Hi, launched my book in July after writing it for 3 years. Last month, sold my 32nd copy. But things have stopped. Lost Amazon ranking, no new reviews. No peak in traffic. Science Fiction based in India has not many takers it seems. Or is it because it is self published?

Have you ever agreed with the villain and then felt a little uncomfortable about it?

I find villains more unsettling when I can follow their reasoning. Somewhere along the way, “I want to keep people safe” becomes “people shouldn’t be allowed to decide for themselves”, and I’m left wondering exactly where I stopped agreeing.

How do I get people to buy with zero marketing spends?

Boy, sounds like a kickass name for a self help guide, but this is a questions, not a statement.

I've tried. Paid ads on Meta. Caught trending topics and made videos for the book. Had interesting meme worthy copy ads, but nothing.

Few friends, mostly colleagues, and family. That's all.

Need help to promote!

Stuck at 34

Hi, first time writing here. So I wrote a book (obviously).. it's a science fiction novel, talks about AI, set in the near future India. It's a simple story about how we give more than adequate power to AI, and it takes humanity down the drain, and how we rise up again. Kinda what's happening in the real world today. It is self published, got good initial traction...... That's it.. only 34 copies sold. Friends, family, few readers. So I'm not doing paid marketing with too much money, but pitching it to producers (some have shown initial interest), and pitching to traditional publishing houses.

I need help with low cost, yet interesting ideas for making the book a little bit better known. Because however interesting the book maybe, if it doesn't sell...

Help!
