How do I revitalize an old YouTube video?

I have an older animation video I posted a few months ago that was intended to be my breakout video for my new animation channel (Jan. 2026 created). But of all my long-form videos, this one was suppressed the most in terms of impressions. I guess the algorithm didn't know who I was or who my audience was at the time. But now, a few months later, with a high subscriber count, I'm looking for suggestions on how I can revitalize and breathe new life into this video?

Things I've done so far:

- At the time of posting, I had 3 YT Short excerpts from the long-form video posted with related video funneled back into the long-form. Each of these now has over 1.5K views.

- I posted externally and continue to do so today to relevant areas. But this has been really hard, as almost everywhere is anti-self-promotion.

- I posted on social media some behind-the-scenes short videos of me making the backgrounds for this video, being that it's an animated long-form video.

So I've started using ToonSquid to create this animated variety show to honor and highlight other animators in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre niche. I'm also looking for other animators to help make this a community project and not just my own thing. Check out the video for details.
