Couldn't put any of his books down and with no news of a new novel after his latest book *The Long Shoe* came out last October, I'm desperately needing to scratch the itch.

Can you suggest me anything similar? I know Bob is really unique, but there has to be something to dig my teeth into in the meanwhile.

A few things I liked most about his books..

Protagonist is English (lives in England) and is nothing special, just an average Joe going about his business.. Kind of an average British slice of life but with comedic aspects. A love interest, but not intense. If you know Bob's work, you'll know what I mean.
