Why the word “short” is longer than “long”?
I was thinking about that for quite a while and from the logical pov it just doesn't make any sense to me.
How is that possible that we have two words describing a characteristic of an object staying being short, is exactly has more characters therefore being longer than its counterpart the word is responsible for describing something is long.
