For those who compete in tournaments where your local judge also plays — how do you handle facing them without feeling intimidated?

I've played against mine 9 times and only won 3 rounds, all back at my very first tournament at our local game store (and honestly, that felt like luck). Since then it's been 0 wins every time we match up.

The frustrating part is I know my builds aren't the issue — they're solid. It really comes down to launch power and launch strategy, and that's where he's consistently beating me. Any advice?

It just feels like a mind game to me as well maybe? Also even my partner is intimidated by them along with a few friends.
