Is Dr. B.C. Roy (BCRPC) good for BBA? Strict parents, 88% in Boards, and Govt Job prep.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some honest feedback on **Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College - Academy of Professional Courses (BCRPC)** in Durgapur for the BBA program.

Here is my situation: I just finished Class 12 Commerce with **88%**. Ideally, I would have looked at colleges in other cities, but my parents are quite strict and are adamant about me staying in **Durgapur**for my graduation.

Their main goal is for me to start preparing for **Government Job exams** (Banking, SSC, etc.) alongside my degree. Since BCRPC is one of the local options, I’m seriously considering it. Fees aren’t a major concern for us, but I have a few specific questions:

* **Attendance Strictness:** How rigid are they about the 75% rule? Since I’ll be balancing college with coaching/self-study for competitive exams, I need to know if the faculty is supportive or if they are very strict about being on campus all day.

* **Study Environment:** Is the vibe conducive to someone who wants to keep their head down and study? Are there good library facilities or quiet spots?

* **Internships & Placements:** For BBA students specifically, how are the internship opportunities? Does the college help in getting decent corporate exposure, or is it mostly focused on the B.Tech side?

* **General Reputation:** How is the faculty-student relationship?

If any seniors or alumni are here, I’d really appreciate your perspective. Staying in Durgapur is a non-negotiable for my family, so I want to make sure I’m making the best of the situation.

Thanks in advance!
