India EB2 Dec 2013 PD — silent updates, KC Field Office transfer, 3rd FTA0 today - trying to understand what's happening
Background:
I have a pending employment-based I-485 filed in late 2025. I have approved I-140s under both EB2 and EB3 from the same employer. My priority date is in late 2013 under India chargeability.
Visa Bulletin situation:
EB2 became current for me, while EB3 was still not current, so I initiated a Transfer of Underlying Basis / interfile request.
Interfile timeline:
- Late April: Attorney mailed Supplement J + Transfer of Underlying Basis letter to Lewisville Lockbox
- A few days later: Package was confirmed delivered
Case transfer:
My I-485 was transferred to a field office shortly before the interfile was mailed. USCIS agents said the case was forwarded to the field office and is “Ready for Case Review.”

A third FTA0 event appeared in my case JSON. It was created on May 11 but points back to my original biometrics date in January. I previously had only two FTA0 events from biometrics day.
Summary:
- Biometrics completed in January 2026
- EAD/AP approved in March 2026
- EB2 and EB3 I-140s approved with same employer
- Interfile received at Lewisville in late April 29th
- Third FTA0 appeared today
