Been hiring writers for a while on the agency side and figured I'd share what's actually moving right now: AI consumer tools are everywhere and clients are desperate for writers who can talk about them on Quora without sounding like a press release. The Quora-native writers (established accounts, actual voice) are getting paid retainers, not per-piece rates, because that kind of presence isn't something you can just spin up.
