Hey guys. We recently had a flat EPDM tear off over a guys garage. Under the EPDM was BUR (Built up roofing With gravel and tar etc.) After the tear off the guy called me furious because the garage under the roof didn’t have any ceiling so everything got everywhere. Before you answer, here’s a few items.

- we were never made aware of the no ceiling situation
- his garage door was open (overhead door also got stuff on it) so 1. We couldn’t see the ceiling and 2. Our dumper was right by the opening so stuff was bound to get in the garage anyway.

What do I do and who’s at fault? How do I rectify if I’m to blame? Apparently it got on furniture and a golf cart. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
