I just did a little experiment with my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.

I was playing around with my makeup and noticed that my Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer was looking a little dusty (metaphorically speaking), so I decided to give it another spin. Ever since I first tried it, I just couldn’t make it work on my skin. It looked weird, felt weird, emphasized my texture, and I hated how it felt by midday.

I also had the L’Oréal True Match Tinted Serum sitting in its little corner because I wasn’t a fan of how much it oxidized on me, so I hadn’t paid much attention to it either.

Today, I decided to experiment and mix the two. I did a 70% Laura Mercier / 30% L’Oréal ratio, mixed them together, and applied it with my fingers before blending everything in with a beauty sponge.

And wow… just wow 👌 It applied so beautifully and gave me the perfect amount of coverage while still looking super skin-like. It didn’t emphasize my texture, made my skin look healthy, and glided on so much better than either product did on its own.

I still need to do a proper wear test, but for first impressions, it definitely did not disappoint.

So, PSA📣: if you have foundations that didn’t work for you at first, don’t throw them out right away! Try mixing them with other products in your collection — you might be surprised.

If you’ve tried this before, let me know how it went ✨💋

If you were only to invest in one high end makeup product, what would it be and why?

Curious to see your recommendations ladies. Been meaning to be more mindful on the products I spend on. Yes, I love makeup and I love to collect but I've recently been spending a lot on brands that arent even worth it contrary to what the influencers recommend.
