4 quotes in the beginning, ended up with 2, both companies seem to have good reviews, $300 difference. Cheaper guy gave me the quote originally had OC Oakridge shingles, 5 yr workmanship warranty. When I asked if this is class 3 impact resistance, he said not and that would have been extra cost but then offered to upgrade to it with no extra cost, while the other guy was upfront about class 3 shingle in his quote, 10 yr workmanship warranty. I have no experience in the industry so I would love to have your opinions on this. Is it normal that roofers do that ? Just feel like I was fooled by the cheaper guy. Sorry if bad english (not my first language). Thanks!
