Hi I was shopping at a Winners in Ontario today and a song came on but had my hands full and didn’t record it. It was a woman singing, the vibes were vaguely spooky and the style reminded me of Lana del ray or Ethel Cain maybe, kinda indie folk dreamy but haunted, if that makes sense. Maybe a bit of Amy Winehouse jazz vibes mixed in but I could be imagining that.

I only caught a few lyrics like “you needed summer clothes” (maybe it was “you needed some new clothes”?) and “on your knees” and something about “I’d rather be”.

Not a lot to go on but I liked it so thought I’d try to find it!
