No gallbladder stones then what? When to stop and continue injections

Hi all,

I hope you can share your experiences if had similar thing going on!

I significantly reduced sweets and crisps 2 weeks before even starting. I've had 2x 2.5mg injections so far. Side effects were mostly around fatigue.

I had my 2nd dose in the morning, day went on as normal, some more tiredness but not concerned.

In the evening I had a handful of crisps, which was 1st time I had something fatty in about 3 weeks at that point.

I woke up with sharp pain at 2am - right upper abdomen, radiating to my back. It lasted for hours and it wasn't negligible pain, I struggled to explain to my partner what's going on.

I finally decided to call 111 and went to urgent treatment centre. By the time I was seen, 9am pain subdued but still quite painful. Got codeine to manage pain then had some bloods done. I was referred to ultrasound scan 3 days later. Liver, pancreas and gallbladder are okay.

Got prescribed omeprazole and told to follow low fat diet. Contact gp if needed.

5 days later the pain is more achy, not constant, more like a pulled muscle.

I'm not quite happy with this plan but at least I don't need a surgery.

Has anyone been in a similar position? What did you do with your injections?

Any thoughts appreciated 😊😊
