With a low gpa and bad transcript from my bachelor’s get me denied from every teaching credential program in ca?
I graduated with my ba in liberal studies in 2019, but my last two semesters I had a really hard time taking care of my mom who had stage 4 cancer and my dad with type 2 diabetes, while working and being pregnant. So I ended up with some d’s and f’s I tried to make up for but I did end up with still a d in one of the course. Since then I have been working with a school district since 18 till currently which is 12 years all together. With 6 years of it as an elementary librarian. I have professional recommendations from my principal, vice principal, I’ve worked with for 5 years, as well as many of my coworkers who are teachers. Chat gpt makes it seem like the committee will still consider me with my experience and professional recs. But I feel like I’m literally going to have to re do my whole degree. Any help or advice 😭
