I currently have a deposit down at another school, but I desperately want to go to UoP. Got an update last week saying there has been high yield this cycle and so no movement on the waitlist. I have seen that there is a final May deposit, is that true/will that affect movement at all? I have also heard that they sometimes set up alternates for assurances (interview/guaranteed acceptance) for the next cycle...? What is the timeline for that? Also, how many people do they typically waitlist?

Or at this point in the cycle, do I move on? I know it would be ridiculous to take the gamble and reapply but UoP is my top choice and I fear I'm holding onto hope that doesn't exist. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!
