Hey, I am a 19 year old from Chicago who graduated in 2024. I am very interested in becoming a merchant mariner and attending King's Point. In highschool I had a 4.0 GPA but I was too immature to take rigorous classes so I don't meet the qualifications now. Can I take the classes in college and do well to gain acceptance? Have you guys heard of people getting into KP a couple years after high school after they initially did not qualify? Thanks!
