Hi all, I've been diagnosed with herpes simplex virus, and I'd like to know which type I have, 1 or 2. Apparently this can be determined by a blood test, specifically the IgG antibody blood test. I usually get my testing done at the Thai Red Cross, but they tell me their tests can't distinguish between types 1 and 2.

Does anyone know a place in BKK where I can get this kind of test? Thanks!
