Has anyone ever succeeded treating this kind of scarring?

I have a derm appointment with a dermatologist that specializes in scar treatments on the 14th. Wondering if anyone has had this kind of scarring and what worked best.
I know people refer to this as pebble stone scarring, hypertrophic acne scars, or papular acne scars. Not sure what I exactly have here.

It is firm to the touch but you can still squish them. They are not painful, just there and visible. Seems worse with makeup on. The only thing about them I find odd is that they fluctuate day to day with how inflamed it looks— not sure why. Just hate the look of them so bad.

I’ve scrubbed the internet for solutions, and I see a lot about Co2 helping and Co2 also not helping. I’ve seen microneedling doesn’t do anything for this. Anything laser seems like it doesn’t work for people that have this. I’ve seen people say to ask about steroid injections for these. But still, would love to know anyone that has had success with getting rid of these.

19F. 115 pounds. 40 mg dosage entire course. I’m at 5 months and 16 days. My derm extended it for one more month, but with the way my skin is looking, unfortunately, I’m highly doubting I will be clear by the end of the 6 months. (Showing pictures in diff lighting)

My derm has never mentioned upping my dosage, and when asked what will he do if I’m not clear by the end of next month, he said he’s gonna put me on spiro again, and retin a.

(I did spiro for at least 8 months before deciding I wanted accutane to get rid of my acne for good. I wasn’t satisfied on spiro, even at 100mg.)

I asked about extending my accutane course, but he said he wouldn’t because I could develop Osteoporosis.

Not only am I disappointed because I feel like my acne is way less severe than many that I see in this reddit and I’m wondering why it’s taking forever to clear, I’ve been battling acne since I was 10 years old. It is so draining and I can’t leave the house without covering it all up. I really thought my skin would be all better for my new job I’m starting this month.

I feel like I’m a dog chasing their tail and can’t catch it because I keep doing what this dermatologist says and I’ve yet to be clear. I’ve been going to this dermatologist SINCE i was 10.

I just don’t know why it isn’t working for me. I know some people need 2 rounds of accutane, or even more, but he did not bring that possibility up to me.

I’m so done lol. Gonna continue taking the pill. My routine: Vanicream face wash (no it doesn’t have niacinimide) Vanicream moisturizer (no it doesn’t have niacinimide)
