Hey guys-Long time lurker, I just wanted to find out information on how to start my application for joining the VA. 20 years ago I was in the Marine Corps, MOS was in the infantry. Left with some injuries but when I got out I didn’t go to the VA. For years I had the mentality of “VA benefits are for those that truly deserve it, I can still do for myself.” Lately my mind has changed and I’m not looking to get disability pay, just medical coverage. Where do I start? And how long does the process take just to qualify for medical coverage?
