Just in case you are confused on why you're not getting double exotic components. Expertise Surge and Optimization Surge are 2 DIFFERENT events that affect different materials.

Optimization = Tactical Assessment, Gear Weaves, Weapon Alloys, SHD Calibration, Field Recon Data

Expertise = Receiver Components, Protective Fabric, Ceramics, Polycarbonate, Steel, Titanium, Carbon Fiber, Electronics, Printer Filaments, SHD Calibration, Field Recon Data, Exotic Components

Expertise Surge will potentially reward double prototype cores. However, we don't know yet

Edit* Field Recon and SHD Calibration are doubled in the scavenging menu. However, there is a visual bug as it won't show you it's doubled as it still shows 3 shd cal and 6 field recon, but once you buy them you will receive 6/12 respectively.
