Photographer recommendations?
My fiancé and I are planning to elope in Las Vegas on Christmas Eve this year. We’re staying at the Venetian and getting married at the Chapel of Flowers at 1:30 pm, and I’m thinking about booking a photographer for a mini session beforehand after I get hair/makeup done but before our car picks us up for the ceremony.
I’ve looked at the Chapel of Flowers photography packages, but $1,100 feels really steep for something I’m not even sure matches the vibe I want. I keep seeing all these beautiful, edgy, personality-filled Vegas elopement photos on Instagram and love that style more.
Has anyone here had a really good experience with a Vegas photographer recently? Especially someone good with:
candid / editorial / artsy vibes
fun Vegas backdrops
couples who are awkward in photos and need to be promted on how to pose
mini sessions or shorter elopement coverage (I just want at least a couple of nice shots not all day documentation)
I’m hoping to stay more in the $200–$400 range if possible, (is that realistic?!) though I realize Christmas Eve may mean I need to book way in advance.
Would love recommendations, Instagram handles, or even tips if you’ve done a Vegas elopement recently!
