It's not this way everywhere but it is here. No I won't tell you where. But these schools that are just inexplicably bad may be "dumpster" schools.

Dumpster schools are schools that are surrounded by charter or magnet or private schools and it's used as a place to dump kids that get rejected or kicked out of those schools. It's the last step before opportunity schools or explusion.

This explains soooo much. Why some schools just have nothing but horrible disruptive kids. I thought it was me but then I'd go to other schools and I'd be just fine so it can't be me.

If you're having trouble with a school, look around and see if they are surrounded by alt schools and see if that school is just a dumping ground.

My boss wants us to walk around all day. I literally do this job because I have drop foot and cant do that. So I walk around until I get the kids settled then I go and sit at the desk. Then I get up every 5 to 10 minutes and walk the room. And yes I play on my phone. I being air pods and put on an audiobook and put in one pod and listen to my book while I walk around. I haven't had any classes where I'm actually asked to teach anything. I just had out worksheets or they go on thier laptops. I've literally only helped once because they asked me to define a word for them so I looked it up and put it on the board. So what do yall do? And only answer for middle and up because yes I know elementary is a completely different ball of wax and I would never do that again.

Edit I get paid 13.75 an hour.
