Went metal detecting in a small stream, is this a bayonet grip? If so, what kind?
The handle is 10,5 centimetres long and 1,5 cm wide, it was found alongside a 1 pfennig coin from 1941. The stream is located in central Poland, next to an 18th century water mill.
