Need some honest insights from seniors regarding MCA General vs MCA Generative AI at SRM KTR.

Is there any placement bias between the two? Like during placements, are both MCA General and MCA GenAI students given equal opportunities and allowed to sit for the same companies, or do recruiters/placement cell prefer General MCA students more?

Also, would choosing the GenAI specialization affect opportunities for normal SDE/backend/full-stack roles in any way, or is everything basically treated under the same MCA placement pool?

Would really appreciate genuine insights from seniors/current students.
