Hey, first sorry for my poor english

Im wondering what is your experience with orthodontics ?

My dentist told me to go see an orthodontist to make space beetwen shifted teeth to get an implant. Since my right molars barely touch and he thinks that why i have tmj.

Could it make my TMJ worse ? I'm reading awful stories about orthodontic and TMJ.
