My first big win! (Sad situation but still a win)

We started using YNAB in January and I created a whole category group solely for pet expenses for my 6 pets.

Prior to YNAB vet bills always caught me off guard and immediately went on a credit card and I carried a balance.

This year my oldest cat has numerous vet visits, dental surgery, an ER visit on top of her monthly medications and supplements.

We decided we would be helping her transition from this life later this week. We have spent just over 2k on just her this year as well as everything we’ve paid for our other pets.

Thanks to YNAB we have been able to pay for everything without going into debt! When we have an unexpected vet bill that exceeds what we have in our pet medical expenses category I am able to reevaluate our priorities and pull from other categories.

I’m so thankful that we decided to start YNAB this year. We are able to help our sweet girl pass peacefully without worrying about the costs.

Will RM43 kill mature trees?

I have a lot of vegetation around my fence line and I bought RM43 to spray but I just read that it can harm trees and now I’m concerned.

We have several mature trees along our fence line and I’m concerned if I spray near them or near their roots system it will cause problems later on.

Should I exchange the RM43 for something safer?

I am 6 month post op. I had a total hysterectomy and I still have my ovaries.

My cycle was fairly predictable but the length of my cycle varied usually between 26-31 days

I understand that not everyone has a predicable cycle. The one thing I wish I would have done is keep a log of how I felt every day of the month (cramping, bloating, discharge, breast pain, etc.) for at least a few months that way I have something to reference now.

Since I still have my ovaries I still have a cycle but it would be great to know have a log of how I felt during each phase and be able to use that as a reference now to get a feel of when my “period” would start.

I always logged the first day of my period so I’ve been using that as kind of an estimate for the past 6 months but I’ve had a lot of medication changes and it’s been really difficult to figure out if what I’m feeling is because of the meds or because of where I’m at in my cycle.

My piece of advice is if you’re planning for a hysterectomy and you’re keeping you’re ovaries and you have a cycle each month start keeping a log of how you feel each day so you can reference it later.
