Anyone that has done research on this case and knows more about the public release of information, why are only some select depositions and transcripts available (specifically from the civil trial)?
For the criminal trial, have the police reports ever been released by the LAPD?
I’m just wondering as I’ve tried to deep dive and it’s one of the only cases where I can’t find any discovery reports from police (except the FBI files released after his death).
Is it because the case has technically never been “closed” without anyone being convicted criminally? I’m not sure of the legal framework of maybe things will always be under seal without a conviction in criminal court?
Can someone please help me find a link to Paula Barberi’s civil deposition transcript? It’s not on Walraven and I can’t find it anywhere, besides a 50 second clip on YouTube. Does anyone have a link and also who else was deposed that aren’t on the Walraven website?
I came across this incredibly detailed timeline, has anyone seen this? it’s like 30 pages long. There are a lot of things I have never seen or heard. The sources are cited, but not linked and I’ve had trouble finding some of this information in officially released docs.
The language of a lot of this doesn’t seem to be just based on facts and times, I think there are a lot of conclusions or interpretations that are opinions and not actual evidence.
Can someone go through this and debunk anything or is it pretty accurate? I also don’t understand how they have some of these full names when they’ve always been redacted..

Is there a full timeline with everything we know from the PCA up until now? I want to start making one if one doesn’t already exist just to put everything together in one spot from all of the interviews and information available. I am going through most of the court docs now to put it together if I can!
I have seen conflicting things recently about the law in Idaho regarding his plea deal and making him give more details about the crime as a part of that. My understanding of the law is that they can’t “make” him talk because he has the right to not say anything, and you can’t force that.
But, the defense went to the state with a Plea Deal. In this situation, could Bill Thompson have negotiated the terms if he was going to offer a Plea and include that allocation as a condition of the Plea Deal itself or he wouldn’t accept his Plea without that and the death penalty would remain on the table?
He can’t be forced to speak once the Plea is accepted by the Judge (is my understanding), but Thompson could’ve made this a condition in his Plea Deal if he really wanted to during negotiations? It happened so fast from when they asked to when Thompson offered it, was there any negotiation at all?
I just finished the 3 hour interview that Sy Ray did on YouTube and I was honestly surprised. When he was ever mentioned I have flashbacks to the hearing where Hippler basically destroyed him in open court😂 So I thought he would be like Turvey.
That interview (his part in it anyway) was probably one of the best interviews I’ve seen involving people working the case, and he was a DEFENSE expert. It was so raw and honest with where he stands in BK’s guilt, while he would’ve been testifying for the other side. This changed my perspective on him and his work completely.
On the other hand, I am genuinely afraid that the 3 lawyers interviewing him made it through Law School at all. They said some of the dumbest things about this case that I’ve heard (besides crazy tik tokers) especially for being professionals, and Sy Ray shut them down. I understand there’s two sides and defense attorneys are important, but the claims they made, bashing the victims, and the conclusions they came to after reading all of the same documents we have, and these “professionals” interpreted the evidence as a huge conspiracy theory, is wild. Genuinely appalled.
**ETA:
I watched the interview he did on NewsNation with Steve and Alivea Goncalves and I do have a lot of questions after this. Can anybody weigh in on if the investigators truly were that far off? I’m really confused after this interview how they could miss all of that, how the 23 pings were BS and how he says he basically tracked him straight to the snake river and could place him inside the house? Am I missing something? Did the Prosecution file anything disputing his report (the one that was just unsealed)?
Is it normal procedure for the defense work product to be released without the trial?? I don’t think I’ve come across a case where the defense documents are released publicly, not presented in court at all.
I’m just wondering because the amount of speculation and absolutely terrible and far fetched conspiracy theories in some of these “expert witness” reports, I would assume some of this would not have made it to the courtroom in trial.
Have the actual police report narrative and supplemental reports from the investigation ever been released? I know the transcripts for both trials and some exhibits are on the Walraven website, but I can’t find any documents at all from the investigators on scene, etc.
I know the FBI released their files somewhat recently, but all that I saw in there was them searching the world for the Bruno Magli shoes.
Maybe I just haven’t been able to find the documents online, but if anybody has them or could direct me to somewhere that does, I would really like to read them.
Has A.C. ever publicly commented on the trial or case at all besides in the civil depositions? I haven’t been able to find anything at all from him. Maybe I missed it, but maybe he just never spoke on it publicly?
Not that he would ever tell anyone, but I’d love to know what O.J. actually said to him before, during, and after that Bronco chase.
