i’m in a really stressful situation and don’t really know what to expect or what my options are.
i’m currently on probation in bell county, texas from a charge in 2023. i was put on 4 years probation in october 2024. in august 2025, they filed a motion to revoke because i failed a breathalyzer at a check-in and couldn’t afford to get a scram monitor like they wanted. the warrant for that motion just became active in april 2026.
i haven’t turned myself in yet because i can’t afford bond or an attorney. i’ve had 2 pr bonds in the past, but i don’t know if that would even be possible again in this situation.
on top of all that, i just found out i’m pregnant, so i’m trying to figure out what’s likely to happen if i turn myself in and can’t bond out. like how long i’d be in jail, whether pregnancy affects anything, and if there’s any realistic way to get a bond reduction or pr bond without money for a lawyer.
i know i messed up and i’m not trying to avoid it, i just want to be prepared and understand what i’m walking into.
any insight or experience with probation revocations in texas (especially bell county) would really help.
