When did it start to feel real?

I'm lying here watching my bump move in all kinds of ways and I do know there's a baby in there but I find it hard to believe that there's actually a baby in there. 33 weeks pregnant and feel like I won't believe it until I meet her in person.

I find myself rubbing my bump all the time, talking about her all the time but because I'm finding it hard to make sense of the fact that there's a baby in my body right now, I'm worried that I'm not bonding in the way I should be? Hope I'm making sense lol. Did anyone else feel this way in the 3rd trimester?

Where to buy icandy peach 7 fitted sheets for the bassinet/ also baby bouncer and co sleeper crib recommendation please

Hi, I am searching everywhere and can't find any sites that sells sheets specifically for icandy peach 7 mattress.

Also, would love some recommendations for a baby bouncer and co sleeper crib please. There seems to be so many options, prices ranging from 50ish-300 euro. We would be happy spending up to 150. For the co sleeper crib, I think I would prefer a side that slides down over zips.

FTM, 33 weeks now and feeling like I don't really know what I need for her arrival.

We have the travel system, some clothes, bath, bottles/steriliser, soothers, muslins, cellular blankets, monitor, bath thermometer, nappies.

Starting to feel we are leaving it a bit late to get the rest of the bits we need.

30 weeks and suddenly feel very pregnant

Here to moan and hopefully get some advice on how to make things easier.

I'm 30 weeks today. The past 2 weeks I've barely slept, starting to feel so uncomfortable. Tossing and turning all night from side to side. So difficult going into work (nurse) on only a couple hours of broken sleep and my back and sciatica pain is really starting to get to me. The sound effects when I'm changing position or trying to pick things up is embarrassing at this point too.

The worrying thing is the thoughts of having 10 more weeks of this, baby is measuring ahead by approx 2 weeks and so active. I feel my bump is already making sleep uncomfortable that I cant imagine what it will be like by week 35!

I'm sure all of these things I'm experiencing are normal pregnancy symptoms but does anyone have any tips on how to make this trimester a bit more comfortable.

Part of me wants to ask to be signed off work but nervous that I'm being overly dramatic since I'm having a smooth pregnancy overall. My appointments are always so quick with the consultant that I find it hard to even bring up.

Gestational age and weight

Hi all,

Currently 28 weeks 1 day, baby is measuring 30weeks. She is approx weighing 3lbs 7oz and estimated to be over 9lbs at birth.

How accurate did you find these measurements and weights? Hearing over 9lbs at birth has made reality sink in and hoping I'll be able to manage it 😂

Baby academy class this morning question

Hi.

We are currently on the free baby academy antenatal class.

A question was asked in relation to using the bassinet from the buggy instead of a moses basket for day time sleep.

We have bought the icandy peach 7 and recently decided to add the A frame so we can put the carry cot onto it for day time sleeping.

She said during the class that this isn't recommended but didn't state why.

Has anyone else used the carrier cot on the frame for day time naps?

Wondering if we need the a frame now, if it's safe or just get a moses basket.

Getting signed off sick early Limerick

Does anyone have any experience with Prof Cotter in relation to asking her to sign you off sick before 30 weeks? My pregnancy is going well but personal life is very stressful at the moment managing work and ill parents and finding it hard to juggle all of it.
