instead of another pastel/pixel theme, give us actual body diversity. that's what would make VIP worth it.

not to be that person but... another pastel drop? another pixel-themed set? cool, I guess, but that's not what's actually missing from this game.

what would genuinely make me feel like VIP is worth paying for isn't more cosmetic reskins, it's real body customization. body hair. stretch marks. scars. hip dips. fat rolls. things actual human bodies have. right now every avatar is smooth, airbrushed, and identical underneath whatever outfit you put on it, no matter what body type slider you pick.

I'd pay for that in a heartbeat. not because it's trendy, because it's what "customization" is supposed to mean in the first place. if the whole pitch of this game is "be anyone," it should actually mean anyone, not just a slightly bigger or smaller version of the exact same flawless template.

give players the tools to make avatars that actually look like real people, and I promise the VIP subscription sells itself. nobody needs a tenth pastel palette. people need bodies that look lived-in.

anyone else feel this way or am I just yelling into the void here?

why is nobody asking questions? because everyone is too busy clapping.

genuine question to this community.

when an Official Steam Collaborator receives a Starforged Accolade Gold badge and posts about it — why is the immediate community response a flood of congratulations with zero questions asked? no "how did you get that?" no "which contest did you win?" no "wait, aren't you already in an official program?" just applause. instantly. without a single person stopping to think.

i asked. i got called negative.

so let's talk about what "deserved" actually means — because i think this community has quietly agreed to a definition that benefits LKWD more than it benefits players.

deserved means you entered a contest that was open to everyone. you competed on equal terms. you were judged on creativity, originality, and effort. you won fairly against other players who had the same shot as you. that is deserved.

what is not deserved — in my opinion — is receiving the same badge through a promotional path that was never openly available to the general player base. avatar screenshots with wishlist stickers. AI-assisted edits. the same template repeated across multiple accounts targeting the same existing audience. content that brings in nobody new and serves LKWD's Steam metrics more than it serves the actual community. that is not the same level of creative effort that contest participants are held to. and it should not produce the same reward.

and here is a question i have not seen anyone ask publicly yet: are Steam Collaborators actually officially barred from entering contest events? because LKWD has never confirmed this in any public statement. a community member claimed it. but where is the official policy? where is the written rule? if collaborators CAN enter contests — why aren't they? and if they genuinely cannot — why has LKWD never stated this openly so players understand the system they're participating in?

the silence from LKWD on this is not neutral. it is a choice. and as long as this community keeps clapping instead of questioning, that choice has no consequences for them.

you don't have to attach your name to a question. a secondary account costs nothing. but please — start asking.

because i can't be the only one who sees this.

the Starforged Accolade Gold badge system is unfair to smaller players and nobody is talking about it.

i want to preface this by saying this is my personal opinion and observation as a player. i'm not here to attack individuals. i'm here to talk about a system.

the Starforged Accolade Gold badge officially describes itself as "obtained through PC-exclusive events and awarded to those shaping Avakin's next chapter." that sounds straightforward. it isn't.

what's actually happening is that Official Steam Collaborators are receiving this badge outside of any contest process — for promotional work. meanwhile regular players have to enter and win a content creation contest to obtain it. same badge. two completely different paths. zero official clarification from LKWD that this is how it works.

when i asked an Official Steam Collaborator directly which contest they personally won the badge through — the question went completely unanswered.

now let's talk about what that promotional work actually looks like. avatar screenshots. AI-assisted edits. wishlist stickers. the same template and layout repeated across multiple accounts. content that circulates within an existing avakin audience and brings in nobody new. that is what is being recognised with a gold badge while smaller, genuinely creative, unaffiliated players receive nothing.

no badge. no wall of love post. no platform. no acknowledgment.

and if you've ever spoken critically about the game — asked uncomfortable questions, pushed back on anything publicly — your chances of recognition appear to drop to zero regardless of the quality of your work. that's a pattern too many players have experienced to dismiss as coincidence.

LKWD has never officially confirmed how collaborators qualify for this badge. they've never published contest criteria. they've never explained the two-tier system publicly. and when players ask — they get called negative.

asking how a badge system works is not negativity. it's a basic question that deserves a straight answer.

has anyone else noticed this or experienced something similar?

so now their IC gets the steam creativity badge for free.

I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw it, I am shocked this shouldn't happen at all, and only proofs how they are favoritism some players, first LKWDs like Dale now A-Creators and Steam Collaborators sorry, but how much does it need for the players supporting them realizing what is really going on.

.

.

I demand with this as an honest feedback to remove the badge from each of their profiles for an fair gameplay fo ALL PLAYERS.

.

So when do you all finally wake up and unfollow and block all of them in one go. They won't realize this when not on the hard tour.

Do I need do say anything here?

LKWD just dropped a "new" release.

30 items. ALL Crowns. Zero Avacoin options. And I did the real math this time.

The cheapest way to buy enough Crowns for everything visible:

- 1,400 Crowns = CHF 39.00

- 520 Crowns = CHF 16.00

= CHF 55.00 total

That's $55-60 USD. For what exactly?

Gold tube top. Orange tube top. Yellow tube top. The same fringe skirt in 3 colors. The same shorts in 3 colors. A body suit. A bag. A hat. Some boots.

LKWD didn't design 30 new items. They took maybe 10 base designs, changed the color code, and charged Crowns for every single "new" variant.

That's not a release. That's a recolor cash grab dressed up as content.

And before anyone says "just don't buy it" — that's not the point. The point is this is what LKWD prioritizes while:

❌ 1.1 million players have stopped logging in

❌ Servers are ghost towns

❌ Events are dead on arrival

❌ Steam has 300 concurrent players

❌ They deleted my interview request on their subreddit

But sure. CHF 55 for palette-swapped summer clothes. That'll win everyone back.

For CHF 55 you could buy:

- A full AAA game on Steam

- 3 months of Spotify

- 2 months of Netflix Premium

- A nice dinner out

Or... orange shorts in a mobile game.

Your choice, I guess.

What would YOU rather spend CHF 55 on? 👇
