Foot Pain - 1 year PO

I had an L5S1 microdiscectomy in April of 2025. I have had a relatively smooth recovery with little aches, pains, spasms, etc here and there in my affected leg but NOTHING like pre op. The past few weeks I have had some minor nerve pain in my outer foot and pinky toe….i never had this prior, only very severe calf pain. Has anyone had this happen? it’s only like a 2-3/10 pain, nothing crazy and comes and goes throughout the day. it’s just kind of freaking me out since it’s a “new” symptom that I didn’t have prior to surgery. I know the S1 nerve reaches down to the pinky toe/bottom and outer foot. So, could just be irritation of the nerve (which I’m hoping). I have started doing Pilates weekly a little over a month ago and maybe those two things are connected? Idk but just looking for anyone who has experience a similar thing!!
