One important thing I would like to loudly emphasize is this: your eAPR information (especially job titles and dates) must be CONSISTENT with previous immigration applications (study permit, TRV, work permit etc). The consistency in my profile across immigration applications very much helped my application based on the text from the Officer in GCMS note. Basically I think the officer didn't even bother checking in detail the work experiences because I declared them previously and I provided substantial evidence for them.

- 1 Year Foreign Work Experience (9 months full time experience in one NOC and another 3 months in another different NOC).
The 3 months experience was both full-time and part-time due to COVID. I put the full time work hours in my express entry profile because I didn't want it to be confusing to the officer and then I wrote a very detailed LOE explaining the work experiences/hours and Canadian education. Also, I created a table of content showing the calculations for the part time work experience and how I met the full time hours for the total 1 year!
I did everything myself, and I used AI (ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini) for slightly refining my letters. No representative or lawyer was consulted!
PVO/SVO - Ottawa/Sydney and then changed to Montréal during the landing process.

📌 PFL: May 20, 2026. The Officer accepted the initial evidence of my intention but now wanted me to provide updated documentation that I have been seeking employment opportunities. The Officer also asked for updated Schedule A Background declaration form and Family Information form.

I submitted via webform (there was no place to upload in GCkey) a robust 63-page response of my intention to reside outside Quebec. The document was split into 2 parts due to file size limitation on webform). This time, I submitted job applications and interviews I had while my application was going on, moving quote, letter from my employer stating he knows my intention to relocate and he approves of it, my search for apartments in ON, Quebec lease termination email that I sent to my landlord months prior, relocation budget and bank statement as proof of funds for relocation, long-term settlement plan, screenshot of my browser history showing evidence of apartment search in Ontario, and specifically my city of destination.

📌 FD: June 15, 2026
📌 P1: June 22, 2026 (responded on June 24 with Montréal address but told them in the P1 that I will be relocating to Ontario)
📌 P2: July 10, 2026 (responded the same day with my new Ontario address)
📌 eCOPR: July 31, 2026 (in the evening) and it changed to Approved 🎉🎊. I linked my PR card to GCkey that same evening.
