Back pay

Hello all, hope you are all doing well. Has anyone ever feel like their backpay wasn’t correct and called the VA? I got an increase from 60% to 90% on September 30, 2026. I did the intent to file on April 17, 2026. In the increase, I also go SMC-K but the back pay I have received is $3,738.55 which is about 2k less than what I calculated for increase from May to September. Should I call the VA, should I not, what should I do?

Thank you all for your advices in advance

Missed BDD Appointment

Hello all, hope you are all doing well.
I have a question on a missed BDD appointment relating to hearing loss. I left active duty in 2022 and was encouraged to pursue BDD claim during TAP. My time in the military wasn’t all the best and I left with so much anger in me that I didn’t want nothing to do nothing further. I followed the TAP advice and went in for a BDD claim which I got rated at 60%. However, I missed one of the appointments (hearing) and wasn’t rated for it. I was just going over the CD (medical record) and saw treatments record and diagnoses for hearing issues which I have been dealing with. My question now is, can I still use that to file for a hearing disability and will the va consider it since I missed the BDD appointment.

Graduation invitations for my mom.

Hello all,
I trust that you are doing well! I will be graduating from M.Eng and would like my mom to be present during my graduation here in the United States. I am a U.S Citizen and also an Army Veteran. My mom is in Cameroon, my home country and was wondering if it is possible to invite her on a visit visa for the graduation. She doesn’t work back home, is of age, and doesn’t have any tangible proof of income (since I take care of her). Considering the current states of the immigration processes and the frequent policy changes, would it be possible for her to get a visa and has anyone gone through something similar that could guide me?
