To what extent is nature really attributed to green?
I know people always mention green doesn't not equal trees and nature but it's mostly an association. I wanted to see other explanations on how much green really cares about nature when really getting into the mindset and philosphy of green.
My understanding of greens philosphy is that it is accepting, status quo, instinctual, etc. This makes a high association with nature as nature creates a nice environment for the human mind to focus on these traits.
But my argument is, if green is accepting, instinctual, go with the flow mindset and they grew up in the city, they may not care about nature at all but instinctually follow the trats they learned to value the tradition of the city, value the patterns they learned over time in this environment without forests and trees.
It would be equally absurd to have a person that is very reflective, highly cerebral, value knowledge, etc. But they happen to live nowhere near an island or water. It's just an association because islands are places of solitude that create an environment that the human mind can wonder about what's at the end of the sea and experience the curious things the port brings.
Using fire doesn't always mean someone is reckless but it's a big association because it attracts that mindset, but someone could use fire for totally unreckless purposes.
Anyway I wanted to hear more on your guys thoughts.
