Studying with flashcards, best apps in 2026?

Hi guys, I’m in my first year (med student) and I saw a video on YT about active recall and spaced repetitions. I’m currently trying to create a solid study method and I wanted to ask you some tips.

Is studying with flashcards still the best active recall method and what tool do you use?

Thanks in advance!

Best AI tools I personally use for studying

Im a 2nd year med student, and I’ve tried a lot of study tools that helped me survive first year. Most of them I tested because of hype, but these are the AI tools that actually ended up being useful and helped me stay on top of classes and exams

ChatGPT - There are many complex terms in the medical field, so this helped me break down difficult topics into simpler terms. I mostly use it to simplify difficult medical concepts into something I can understand better.

Winston AI -This one is more of a safety check than a study tool, but it has saved me a few times. I use it to check reports, essays, and notes I’ve created to make them more grammatically correct and polished.

Turbo AI - I mostly use this for exams and quizzes. One thing I like about this tool is its ability to create practice quizzes and flashcards, which are essential for memorization and help break down topics into something easier to understand.

Perplexity - It’s like a normal search engine. However, I use it to find references when I need quick context. It saves time for study-related searches and provides citations, which are important in my field.

Notion - I use this to track my daily tasks, lecture notes, to-do lists, and exam countdowns. Compared to other note-taking apps, it helps clean up messy notes quickly or turns a brain dump into something actually readable.

Honestly, combining a few of these tools makes studying much easier and worth every cent for the time it saves. I resisted using AI for studying for longer than I should have because it felt like cheating somehow. But in reality, it just helps me get through material faster and actually retain it.

Startups in 25/26 have raised crazy amounts from VCs and accelerators and everybody is looking for growth and UGC creators to hire. Here’s a shortlist of under-the-radar startups where you can actually find teams building interesting stuff and looking for hundreds of creators, I’m sharing this from the POV of someone who works closely with ugc agencies and sees where hiring actually happens.

- Triips.com: Hiring for Travel tiktok creators, creators are making around 5K-8K. 1$ CPM per 1000 views. Hiring 50+ creators
- Sprout (the job app): looking for uni creators and professional to make career-related content. Good if you are a young professional developing his career
- Health & Fitness Startups like Sonar, Legion Health, Lotus. Hiring US creators at avg. 1.5 CPM and the space is extremely hot. Very easy to get viral with the right formats.
- Fit Check, Aura Farmer if you are interested in fashion or beauty apps
- Finance Apps: Kalshi (similar to polymarket, ralling up since the last year) and Tradevisor AI (3$ for 1K views)

Hi guys I’m 17 and ever since covid lockdown I’ve fell out of my habit of praying and had a pornography addiction.

Recently I had a bit of a wake-up call and realized how ungrateful I’ve been for everything God has given me. Since then, I’ve been trying to take my faith seriously again. It’s almost May now and I’ve been consistent with praying every day for 38 days.

I started building small habits, like reading the Bible first thing in the morning. It was really hard at first because I was used to just grabbing my phone and scrolling for hours. What helped me was setting an Alarm on Wayk that forces me to read a bible verse before it turns off. That alone really helped me to stay consistent and stop making excuses.

Even on the way to school, I read Bible in the bus instead of just listening to music. Quitting pornography and being consistent with praying has been the most difficult by far, but Im just so proud of myself that I did it

Has anyone else gone through something like this? How did you deal with the urges and stay consistent?
