Hoyts APEX Lighting
[Update] 5 days later, via email, have been told it was a malfunction and it's been fixed. But, at about $30 a ticket, should I try again?
Went to see the Devil Wears Prada 2 at Hoyts Melbourne Central tonight. What a mistake that was.
Imagine having 2 x APEX signs left on during the main movie at 100% brightness?
I made a complaint as it was too bright. Was too distracting. Was told this is normal.
After making a fuss I got moved to a LUX session 1hr later. Albeit smaller screen but no crazy lights in my eyes.
So ultimately the manager made good and conceded after looking himself it was a poor decision by management.
