Story Name...

Hi guys! This week there were a few posts looking for a story where FMC is finding her way through her life in a new city, overcoming her past life, making new friends, building a life for herself in her own and romance as a subplot—not main.

As I shared earlier, I do have a story like this BUT in my draft because... You see, I haven't been lucky with the reach so I kept it hidden because idk if anyone wanted to read such a story.

Now, I feel like sharing it with you all but haven't decided on the name yet. Help me to choose one...

Please feel free to suggest any new names as well!

Your first work on Wattpad...

This is for Authors to talk about the first ever book you published on Wattpad.

Is it still there? Did you take it down? Do you go back to it? If you do, are you proud of yourself or do you cringe at it, as you've evolved as a writer?

Honestly I'd love to hear from the writers.

For me, I have a love-hate relationship with my first book. I cringe in the initial chapters, errors, multiple POV but as I wrote it in span of 3 years... I see the growth between the first and last chapter... It makes me happy. I do feel like deleting or editing the FL name (I used mine 😭) but my readers turned friends threatened me with physical abuse if I do so. 🤣

What's your memory with your first work?

Need recommendations

What the title says, but my only request is that the book should be in 3rd person POV.

I'm someone who gets influenced by their current read, and all my current reads are in 1st person and I'm having trouble continuing my book, which is in 3rd person. I'm losing the grip! 😭

Romance, revenge, slice of life, slow burn, a little erotic/smut is fine. Fine with age-gap as long as it's not 18 x 30+. All tropes are also welcome. Feel free to suggest your own book as well if it fits my POV request. I'd really appreciate it.

People love...

People love to hate!

This community is a great example of that. A few examples are presented here. Just see the interaction of the posts hating on writers, stories or tropes and then compare it to the one where people are looking for reviews, suggestions, or support.

Same timeframe but the engagement speaks for what this community has become or is about. It's really frustrating. The Wattpad algorithm already sucks, and new or struggling writers try to use other platforms for promotion but then again, people would rather engage with the thing they hate rather than support something new.

I really wish the promotional posts got the same engagement as the hate or cringe posts. But I guess, it's too much to ask for in this sub.

Instagram reel...

Trying my hand at Instagram reel because sirf likhna kaafi nahi hota. I've been struggling with maintaining or editing promotional reels for my book (not my cup of tea). Finally got myself to edit this one.

My insta reach is worse than Wattpad... So, sharing it here to get your perspective on it.

Is it good? Would this work? Will this reel intrigue or convince people to read the book?
