New to PC gaming and Reddit in general. Installed Librewolf (Firefox fork that has UBlock Origin Enabled by default) and ProtonVPN(Free Tier). While on the megathread, came across the Other Treasures -> Pirated Games Megathread (https://rentry.org/pgames). It says I Need another extension known as Violentmonkey and some bypass-all-shortlinks-debloated script (https://codeberg.org/Amm0ni4/bypass-all-shortlinks-debloated). And also adding a command to ublock origin. (Add ||*.cfd^ to uBlock Origin)
Is Adding Violentmonkey and bypass-all-shortlinks-debloated necessary? Are They Trusted? Will my normal ublock origin do the job? What does ||*.cfd^ do to ublock origin?
