Ich, lice or something else?
I need some advice. Both my black moor goldfish have gotten this white speckles on their fins and tails the past two or three days. They mostly sit on the bottom of the tank. It doesn’t look like ich to me personally but I’ve also never dealt with it before. I’ve started a fungal/bacterial treatment (using Fritz BacterShield per the suggestion of a petsmart employee - the only dish store we really have in town). It just doesn’t seem to be helping, as least not yet. I went back today and another person said it could be fish lice. I just feel so bad they look so sad. If there’s any advice I’d be so grateful.
I tested the water yesterday: pH was 6 (this is unchanged from how it normally is), nitrite was 0, nitrate 10 and ammonia 0.3 (i use a liquid test kit (fluval).
I did a 30% water change yesterday but haven’t seen any improvement.
