There's barely any markings on it other then a serial number but on the stock it says 1947. Not sure if its year of manufacture or post war repair

I really wanted to put an axis rifle with my 1942 Lee enfield but the Kar98k is literally unaffordable so Carcano it is. Very rough shape (me likey). Still looking for ammo in Canada so I can shoot this bad boy. Other then that bolt is super rough despite lubrication and the whole thing feels pretty lowish quality which makes sense for a late war rushed carcano. I love it
