art help: how can i improve / what should i work on next?
hi! posting because i want to know whether theres something in particular that i should work on since ive been feeling that my portraits... fall flat. it does look okay to me, but i feel theres something i can add to make it pop but im not sure on what that is.
for context, this is my first time drawing in quite a long time and even then the short time i spent drawing was simply casual and i only studied anatomy. i am aware i am still lacking some basic fundamentals, but im not sure which are the most pressing especially since i do want to transition to making portraits from doodles like this. what do you guys think? any kind constructive criticism or comments will be greatly appreciated
